How I Meet My World with Trust

I know the school pretty well as I walk these halls almost every day, but walking backwards trough these familiar halls was a whole different experience from the one I usually have here. As I know the school as well as I do, I trusted my legs to lead me in the right direction and around any obstacles that I usually meet, but as I walked this weird way everyone was staring at me.
I became pretty nervous and started focusing on the weird noises my feet made; not the usual trip, trip, trip but there was this extra noise to my footsteps. I also got to think about what the other people in the hallway thought about these weird noises, did they even notice them?
Then I got a weird feeling in my thighs. The muscles I used weren’t the ones I regularly use, or at least they weren’t used in the regular way that I use them.
All in all I felt very weird.
